Defense Contractor Gets Meeting Room Upgrades and Audiovisual Technology Installations

L3Harris Technologies is a national defense contractor that engineers wireless equipment, electronic systems, night vision equipment, and both terrestrial and space-borne antennas used by the Department of Defense. Holding a strong position as an industry leader, L3Harris Technologies works in a fast moving and increasingly complex field, and has a big need to stay technologically current in its tools and processes.

The Challenge

L3Harris has four sites in the Rochester area, each with a different functions within the company. Some sites focus on manufacturing while others focus on the administration needs of the organization. Constantly working with suppliers with specific expertise in various fields, L3Harris is in a state of constant innovation. Its conference rooms are a central part of communication and collaboration between remote and local teams as well as meetings with suppliers and stakeholders in the U.S. government. Security is a top priority for these meetings would require top shelf audiovisual solutions. What's more, L3Harris required a very quick turnaround for the installations.

Our Solution

All four sites required upgrades to existing conference rooms and collaboration spaces. So we replaced and refreshed the audio and video systems for all of these spaces. 96 conference rooms in total were outfitted with Microsoft Teams software with AVISPL clients. In every room we replaced old projectors with all new AV displays, microphones, speakers, PCs, and cameras.
